For one thing, even if she does not remember me, and this facebook profile is a new last name, but even so, this isn't the first exchange like this. I have some other screen shots saved somewhere. In one she tells me that if she were a white man she would be lauded for her service. Typical neoliberal bullshit.
I didn't vote for her because I wanted someone who would be a black woman version of an average white guy neoliberal.

This an exchange on one of the posts going around about how Cara Spencer didn't put up a fight and just folded the DEI contracts to keep federal funding. She also didn't consult anyone in her staff, and especially the POC. This made a lot of people mad and one of the BOA (Aldridge) wrote one of those "strongly worded letters" that the Democrats send instead of actually doing something.
NOT a Spencer fan, but the whole convo around this is basically activists who are friends with Jones and probably some that truly believe she would have done a better job, or that if the best we can do is DEI and having a neoliberal black mayor instead of a white one, we should.
NO ONE has a plan. Not any of the complainants, or Jones, or Spencer. Just "grow a spine" and "resist" but nothing about what STL will do if Trump cuts the $162 million federal funding, how we should fight off the state, etc.
